Sehsucht: New Representation

Im proud to announce that Sehsucht will now be representing Dstrukt as a Director for Germany and the rest of Europe excluding the UK and France. A very big thanks to the guys here for having me over the past 2 weeks and also bringing me onboard as one of their Directors! Very proud to be part of the Sehsucht family.

So OFFF Lisbon 2008 is over and its got to be said it was the best one yet. With a crowd of 2,500 people and one hell of a venue (The LX Factory) it really did feel like the OFFF guys pulled out all the stops. We will be releasing the official OFFF 2008 titles next week but for those who want a sneak peak check out the OFFF 2008 Video over at CPluv!

Currently sat in Toronto airport with Si & Niko waiting for our flights, its been a crazy few days and everyone is pretty weary eyed. Was a great festival so a huge thanks to everyone at FITC for having us over. Was also great to chill with Bradley, if any of you are yet to see him speak you must! great presentation. Also great to see Craig, Jens, Scott & James over there. Photos coming soon.

As this years summer conferences are about to kick in Myself and Rob (Devoid Of Yesterday) will be speaking at both FITC in Toronto and OFFF in Lisbon this coming two months. We'll be screening the new OFFF titles in Lisbon whilst also giving those at FITC a sneak peak of whats been happening.

Filming for the Sci-Fi Movies project Im working on with Dixon & Baxi finished this week. From insects to explosions... we filmed it all.

OFFF 2008 Lisbon is wrapped!
I'm currently sat on Rob's sofa as were about to drive back down to London after only coming back up north 24 hours ago, I was lucky enough to see my family and my niece Ava yesterday so it was well worth the long and slow drive out of London. This week coming is going to be pretty intense but also a lot of fun, we're shooting the new OFFF titles for the Lisbon conference and I'm also working with Dixon & Baxi on some very cool stuff for Sci-Fi Movies. Now its time for a bit of Apparat & Clark to carry us back to ye olde mist for another week of filming frolics.

You know that feeling whilst watching one of your favourite films, the tingle down your spine, the hairs on your neck prickling up? I get this just from the trailer for the film Sharkwater. Now, Ive posted this before in my older blog for Dstrukt but seeing as its UK release is coming up (22nd Feb) I wanted to give it one last push.
Before I became involved in what I do now I had two options in mind as a teenager, one was to try my hand at design and the other was to study sharks (superorder Selachimorpha). Watching this makes me regret my choice as what Rob Stewart has done and is still doing is way beyond inspiring.

07.02.08 / Its gone midnight and the Linkin Park edit is done, Rob came down to London this morning to help out and really nailed the cuts. Can't thank him enough!

Linkin Park Gig
Last night was a pretty amazing experience, Linkin Park played their last night at the o2 arena, London and I was invited down to meet Mike to chat over the visuals plus stick about for the performance. Not only was it great to meet the guys, the gig was mind blowing. The guys have a huge amount of presence on stage plus combined with AJ's bad ass lighting performance I was pretty much in awe.
